Erin Nold

We would like to shine the spotlight on Erin Nold. She served for 2 years as the Chair of the CRBTF and 2 years as the co-chair. We want to thank her for her many years of service as well as her continued service and support. Erin always shows up with enthusiasm and heart. 

Erin Nold served as the Chair of the Chicago Region Breastfeeding Task Force in 2016 and 2017, and she has been a member since 2005. Erin attended undergraduate school at Indiana University, and then received her Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2002.  She has been a Registered Dietitian since 2003, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2010. Erin is also the proud mother of Jackson (10 years) and Charlotte (7 years), who she exclusively breastfed for a combined total of 33 months.

Erin is the Breastfeeding Coordinator for the CEDA WIC/FCM program, which with a caseload of over 45,000, is the largest WIC agency in the State of Illinois. Erin has worked at CEDA WIC/FCM since 2002 and has been the Breastfeeding Coordinator for the past 7 years. She coordinates breastfeeding services and training for the agency, and she supervises CEDA WIC Peer Counselors. Erin also conducts annual IDHS-sponsored Breastfeeding Support Counselor and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor/Educator trainings for WIC and health department staff from throughout the Chicagoland region.
